It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Brother Arthur Peterson. Arthur was a retired member at ABF, having driven for them for over 20 years. We ask that you keep Brother Arthur, as well as his loving family and ABF Brothers and Sisters, in your thoughts and hearts during this difficult time.

Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Peterson, who left us on October 14th 2025 at the age of 76. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the love he shared with everyone around him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kay, who passed away in 2022.

Beloved father of Arthur Jr. and Michael (Jennifer Bartels). Proud Grandfather of Kyler, Rylen, Greydon, Brandon and Colin.

Arthur made his home in Franklin Park and drove a truck “turning the wheel” for fifty years and retired from ABF Freight after twenty years.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
