It is with heavy hearts that Local 710 must share that Brother Daniel Beyer has passed away. Danny was 28-year Local 710 Teamster at ABF in Sauk Village on the dock and served as Sergeant at Arms for the Local for the past few years.

Danny’s warm smile and easy-going personality made him a dear friend and Brother of so many in this Local Union. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and it was great to just kick back and hang out with him. His dedication and presence at our Local will never be forgotten, and we are sending all our thoughts and prayers to his family, his fellow Brothers and Sisters at ABF, and everyone who had the absolute pleasure to have him in their lives.

Obituary

Daniel M. Beyer, age 53, of Oak Forest and formerly of Chicago’s Canaryville neighborhood passed away January 10, 2024.

Beloved fiancé of Cammie Corbett; loving father of Grace, Sarah, and Katherine Beyer; cherished step-father of Megan and Richie Zarate; Dearest Son of the late Ellen and the late Charles “Bud” Beyer; caring brother of Bud (Lisa) Beyer, Mary Anne (the late Jim “Bonz”) Bonamer, the late Peggy (Art) Baron, Eileen “Louie” (Bill) Murlasits, Rita (Jack) Heidegger, Tom (Theresa) Beyer, Ellen “Nellie” (Michael Mendez) Beyer and Alice (James Moriarity) Beyer; and beloved uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Dan was a loyal member of Local 710 Teamsters union working for ABF for 28 years. He was a longtime cub fan who will be remembered for his great sense of humor, a smile that can light up any room and his love for people. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Visitation Monday January 15, 2024, from 2 – 8 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St Midlothian, IL 60445. Funeral Prayers Tuesday 10:30 AM at the funeral home going to St. Chirstopher Church – St. Augustine Parish for 11 AM Mass.
