Local 710 May 23, 2021 General Membership Meeting
To Be Conducted IN-PERSON
In accordance with the latest guidance from the State of Illinois Coronavirus Response, the Executive Board has determined that our General Membership Meeting on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 11:00 am CT, shall be conducted IN PERSON at the Local 710 Union Hall. We will also prepare for a virtual format of the meeting to be offered live as well.
Effective May 14, 2021, the state of Illinois entered the “Bridge Phase,” which allows for increased capacity for indoor meetings. With that in mind, we will allow 150 members to be present at the hall. Masks are strongly encouraged for in-person participants.
YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE TO ATTEND THE MEETING IN PERSON, AND ADMITTANCE WILL BE GRANTED BASED ON THE ORDER IN WHICH YOU REGISTER. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE ADMITTANCE TO THE MEETING TO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT PRE-REGISTERED BY 4:00 PM CT ON FRIDAY, MAY 21, 2021.
Once capacity limits have been reached, we will no longer accept registrations for in-person attendance, and you will receive a link to attend the meeting virtually. Attendees will be limited to Local 710 members and retirees only.
The registration process will be conducted similarly to how we have done it for our virtual meetings. Upon submitting your registration form, our staff will review your 710 status and send you a confirmation within a couple days of your registration. Registrations are timestamped. If you are having difficulty registering for the meeting, please contact the hall at (773) 254-3200.
Weather permitting, we may conduct the meeting fully outdoors, which will be determined on the morning of the meeting.
