Local 710 UPS Driver Patrick Kress Achieves Circle of Honor for 25 Years Safe Driving

Davenport Package Car Driver Reached Milestone in January

DAVENPORT, IA | Teamsters Local 710 would like to congratulate Brother Patrick Kress, who achieved 25 years of safe driving with UPS and was inducted into the Circle of Honor in January.

“On behalf of my fellow stewards and drivers at Davenport, I’d like to congratulate Pat on reaching this milestone,” said UPS Steward and Local 710 Trustee Mike Sanchez. “I’m so proud to drive alongside Pat – he is really dedicated to his work and focuses on driving safely every day. Reaching the Circle of Honor is no easy feat, given the increasing hazards on the road today.”

UPS awards the Circle of Honor to drivers who have reached 25 years of driving without an avoidable accident. Drivers receive a patch to wear on their uniform, which is updated for every five years worth of safe driving thereafter.

“It’s always a great day when we can welcome another safe driver into the Circle of Honor,” said Local 710 President and Business Agent Del Schaefer. “I’m really proud of the dedication shown by our drivers at 710 to make it back to their most important stop of the day in the safest way possible day in and day out.”
