Daughter of Local 710 Member Wins Chicago Teamsters Hispanic Caucus Scholarship
Karla Magana, Daughter of Teamster Sandra Magana, Earns $1,250 Award

Teamsters Local 710 would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Karla Magana, who was one of four recipients of this year’s Chicago Teamsters Hispanic Caucus Scholarship Award. She submitted an essay that earned her a $1,250 scholarship to apply towards college.
Karla is the daughter of Local 710 member Sandra Magana, who works at ReaderLink in Romeoville, Ill. Local 710 Business Agent and CTHC Executive Vice President Mike Ramirez presented the award to Sandra last fall.
We are all extremely proud of Karla for winning the CTHC Scholarship. Her mother, Sandra, works hard every day to instill important Teamster values and a strong sense of community in her family, and it clearly shows in her daughter.
