The Teamsters Local 710 UPS team has been working hard to get members back to work. During two weeks of local level hearings earlier this month, Local 710 business agents and stewards fought to have 14 members reinstated.
When it comes to committed representation, our UPS business agents are on fire. They are intensely on top of the issues at the UPS centers and working to not only enforce the contracts, but to also strengthen solidarity and camaraderie throughout the membership.
The Teamsters are strongest when we stand together.

Five of the 14 reinstatements were out of the Davenport, Iowa facility. Local 710 Business Agents Del Schaefer, Ron Dillon and Simon McNamara teamed up to visit the center for two full days to hold meetings with the members in addition to the local levels.
We want to make sure our members know we’re behind them 100 percent, and we’ll do whatever it takes to set things straight where there are issues. We’re always available to listen to situations in the workplace and come up with solutions together with the members to build Teamster strength.
