Local 710 Overturns Two Terminations at Carhaul Arbitration

Cassen’s Teamsters to Return to Work with Full Seniority

Two Teamsters Local 710 carhaul drivers at Cassen’s will return to work later this month with full seniority.

Local 710 Business Agent Anthony Lamy worked diligently to have both of their discharge grievances overturned. The grievances were heard at the Central Auto Transporters Joint Arbitration Committee at the end of March, where they were deadlocked. Lamy then worked with the VP of Labor to have them successfully overturned based on the evidence presented.

Protecting our members’ jobs is the top priority for the Teamsters Union. Local 710 will continue to make sure employers honor the contracts we fought hard to secure and protect our members’ rights.

John T. Coli
Local 710 Trustee
