Local 710 Members at Logistics Insight Ratify Strong Teamster Contract

Warehouse Workers Secure Multiple Wage Increases, Bonuses

Approximately 140 Teamsters Local 710 warehouse employees at Logistics Insight Corporation (formerly known as St. James Leasing) ratified a new four-year agreement at the end of October.

The bargaining committee headed up by Local 710 Business Agent Anthony Lamy worked extremely hard to secure impressive wage increases in multiple ways.

“We stood firm at the bargaining table to improve wages. We are proud to present an agreement to the membership that focuses so strongly on increased income on several different fronts.”

Teamsters will receive wage increases of 40 cents per hour in each of the four years of the agreement. The new wages will be retroactive to June 1, 2015.

Existing employees will also receive a $1,500 bonus paid out over three years, beginning in December. Hourly pay for Tier II employees increased to $13.50 at the time of ratification, securing Teamsters between $1 and $3 hourly raises in addition to the annual wage increases. New hires will begin at a $12 hourly rate, up from $9.50.

“Our hardworking members at Logistics Insight should hold their heads high after ratifying such a firm and fair contract,” said John T. Coli, Trustee of Local 710. “They stood together and secured a Teamster agreement that improves wages across the board. This is a monumental win for the Teamsters.”
