Join the Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women’s Committee to Fight Breast Cancer

Union Teams Ready for American Cancer Society Walks in October

The Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women’s Committee once again is partnering with the American Cancer Society for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks as part of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Registration is FREE, and participants are encouraged to raise additional money for the American Cancer Society.

The Women’s Committee team participated in a three-mile walk in Springfield last weekend and has two more upcoming walks in Park Ridge and Chicago. The Springfield surpassed their fundraising goal by raising over $1,000 in donations to the American Cancer Society.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk (5K) – Chicago »

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks will be taking place in almost 300 communities across the country. Funds raised will support the fight against breast cancer through research contributions and providing resources to those affected by breast cancer.

Teamsters Local 710 is an affiliate of Teamsters Joint Council 25, America’s premier labor union for Chicago, Illinois and northwest Indiana.
