YRCW/Holland Clerical Workers Continue Contract Negotiations
Economic Issues to Be Tackled During Upcoming Bargaining Sessions
Negotiations continued Monday and Tuesday of this week on a new contract for YRCW/Holland clerical workers represented by Teamsters Local 710.
The Local 710 YRCW/Holland Clerical Bargaining Committee has participated in five negotiation sessions with management. Only economic issues remain outstanding.
The bargaining committee includes the following Local 710 rank-and-file members:
- Larry Alexander, Holland
- Linda Karpiesz, YRCW
- JoAnne Lizak, Holland
- Lugene Matthis, YRC
- Timothy Nordmeyer, Holland
- Yvette Perkins, YRCW
- Deborah Woods, YRCW
Negotiations will continue Wednesday, August 12, with additional dates tentatively scheduled for August 13-14. Members with outstanding issues or questions should direct them to the bargaining committee or Local 710 Business Agents Paul Hawkins or Chuck DeCola.
Upon ratification of this contract, additional negotiations for a new YRCW Janitorial and Maintenance contract will begin. An extension agreement is in place for the Janitorial and Maintenance agreement, which expired at the same time as the clerical contract.
