Top Labor Lawyer Joins Local 710 for Negotiations
Stuart Davidson to Assist in Negotiations with UPS
When Local 710 negotiators sit down to draw up a new contract with UPS, they’ll be working with Stuart Davidson, a nationally recognized labor attorney with over 30 years of experience in labor law, including leading contract negotiations.
Davidson started his career in labor law in 1982 and has represented a range of unions from the Teamsters to the NFL Players Association. He is familiar with the ins and outs of contract negotiations. He has published law articles about pensions and benefits, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Family and Medical Leave Act, employment discrimination and other areas of collective bargaining and workers’ rights.
Davidson was named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in the 2015 edition of the annual list, put out by U.S. News and World Report.
In Local 710’s negotiations with UPS, Davidson will be assisting lead negotiator John T. Coli.
