Local No. 710 Pension Fund Meeting

On November 12, 2023, Local No. 710 Pension Fund will host an informative meeting regarding positive changes being made to your Pension Plan. These changes will become effective for those who retired or will retire with 25 years (or more) of service along with being 52 years of age as of February 1, 2024. Further details will be made available at the meeting.

Information regarding changes to the Pensioners Insurance and an option for a Medicare Supplement Plan will be explained and Labor First will be available to answer questions.

The meeting will be presented by Local No. 710 Pension Fund Board of Trustees and the Fund Office. Also present will be other Fund professionals including the Fund’s Actuaries and Counsel.

Due to limited space, the presentation is reserved for the member and their spouse. If you are unable to attend in person, the morning session will be streamed live via Zoom (registration information below).

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, an online viewing option will be available during the first session (regardless of your last name). Please note that if you have questions during the meeting, you will need to contact the 710 Pension Office.

Registration is required to connect to the Zoom Webinar. In-person attendees do not need to register. Upon registering, you will receive a link to connect to the meeting on November 12. If you join the meeting prior to 10:00 am, you will see a message that the host has not yet started the meeting, and that you will be able to join once it is started. If you connect after 10:00 am, you will automatically join the meeting in progress.

Make sure you ONLY click the “Join Webinar” button in your email on the meeting day on the device you plan to watch the meeting on. Zoom authorizes the first device you’re using that you click on the link. Each attendee must register individually (e.g. don’t forward your Zoom link to someone else).

Be sure you have access to a strong internet connection – either a strong WiFi network or ethernet. If not, and you are joining from your phone, you may opt to switch off your WiFi and run on mobile data (data rates may apply).
