The Joint Council 25 Executive Board has organized a complimentary 5-week basic CDL training course to begin on Monday, March 9 for any Teamsters Joint Council 25 members or relatives of members that are interested. The training will be administered by the Illinois Teamsters Joint Council 25 Employers Apprenticeship and Training Fund and will be held at their facility in Joliet.
Any Teamsters Joint Council 25 member in good standing and/or a relative who is interested in the course must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Obtain a CDL-A permit with air brake endorsement (must be able to obtain the permit by the start of the course on March 9)
- Obtain a letter of recommendation from their Principal Officer

Please note, upon your submission of a letter to Secretary-Treasurer Cales, there is no guarantee that you or your relative will be selected to participate. There are limited spots in the training course that are offered to all Joint Council 25 Locals on a first-come, first-serve basis of the candidates that meet the requirements.
