DES PLAINES, IL | The Teamsters Local 710 Negotiating Committee had their initial meeting with their employer last week to exchange non-economic proposals and kick off negotiations.
“Our committee has done a great job preparing for these negotiations, and we’re ready to take Sysco head on,” said Secretary-Treasurer Mike Cales. “This is an extremely solid group of members, and I have no doubt that they will stand together throughout the bargaining process to secure the benefits and protections they deserve.”
The Local 710 committee is preparing counter proposals to discuss at the next bargaining session, which is scheduled for December 11. Additional dates have been scheduled throughout the coming months. Stay tuned to Teamsters710.com for the latest updates as these negotiations progress.
