Teamsters Local 710 Remembers Brother Tom Rehmer

Our Local is deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Tom Rehmer. Brother Rehmer was a dedicated freight member of Teamsters Local 710 and dock worker at ABF. He was a genuinely kind person who would always share a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom and his family and friends during this difficult time.

Obituary

Thomas R. Rehmer, 57, of Momence, IL died on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the Franciscan Hospital in Dyer, IN. He was born on April 9, 1960, in Kankakee, IL, the son of John and Shirley Lawrence Rehmer. He married Sandy Newberry on September 22, 1984 in Momence, IL. She survives. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law; Renee Rehmer of Momence, IL and Jenna and Derrick Hall of Momence, IL. One grandson; Rylan Thomas Rehmer. His mother, Shirley Rehmer of Momence, IL. One brother and sister-in-law; John and Ellen Rehmer of Momence, IL. One sister; Carol Dinkins of Milford, IL. He is preceded in death by his father. He was employed by ABF Trucking as a dock worker. He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Momence, IL. He enjoyed yard work and was a Cubs and Packers fan.
