Five-hundred sixty-three Local 710 Teamsters gathered en masse for Sunday’s nomination meeting for delegates and alternate delegates for the 2016 IBT Convention. The Convention will be held in June 2016 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Stuart Davidson, Esq. of Willig, Williams and Davidson chaired the meeting, reading write-in nominations and hearing nominations from the floor. After the meeting concluded, a meeting was held for the candidates who accepted their nominations.

Both meetings concluded with a total of four slates of candidates running, with no candidates running independently. Ballots will be mailed out to all Local 710 members in good standing on Wednesday, February 10. If a member does not receive a ballot by Saturday, February 20, that member should contact the local union hall to request a duplicate ballot be mailed to him or her.

Ballots will be counted on Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. Information and official forms from the Office of the Election Supervisor for the IBT may be found at IBTvote.org.
