New Agents Hired to Strengthen UPS Representation
Del Schaefer
Del is a native of Belleville, Ill., and has worked for UPS at its Belleville hub since 1989. He became a Local 710 steward in 1994. Del has an accounting degree from Belleville Area College, now Southwestern Illinois College. He will represent UPS member units in Illinois (Alton, Belleville, Centralia, Jacksonville, Kankakee, Marion, Olney and Quincy) and Indiana (Evansville, Huntingburg, Terre Haute and Washington).
Dennis Morse
Dennis has been a member of Local 710 since 1984, when he started working at the UPS hub in Decatur, Ill. He has worked as a package driver at the Decatur Center since 1987. Dennis became a steward in 1998. He will represent 12 units in Illinois: Bloomington, Champaign-Urbana, Danville, De Kolb, Decatur, Galesburg, Mattoon, Peoria, Peoria CSI, Peru, Rock Island and Springfield. He will also represent members in Davenport, Iowa.
Ron Dillon
Ron has been a Teamster for 27 years, working as a package car driver for UPS at its Tri City location in Westville since 1987. He has been a steward for Local 710 for 20 years. Before working for UPS, Ron was a union sheet metal worker for 15 years. Ron will represent one member unit in Illinois, in Joliet, and 10 in Indiana (Bourbon, Crawfordsville, Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Hammond, Kokomo, Lafayette, South Bend, Tri City and Waterloo).
